At the halfway mark, I figured it would be a good idea to back up the blog and the storybook site. I would be severely put out if I lost all my work!
For the weekly announcements, Oct 18th had an inclusion that really caught my eye.
I played it for a few rounds. My highest score was 400. I know I can do better!
This picture is actually the background on both my laptop and desktop. I find the clouds entrancing!

Hello Whitney! I loved the picture that you have as your background on both of your computers!
ReplyDeleteOkay I had no idea what the language game would be but wow! That is hard. I tried playing a couple of rounds myself. It is pretty interesting to see all of the languages that have evolved all around the world. They are so different but so alike. I spent time in Europe this summer and I spent a lot of time thinking and reflecting about language. Although I wish we all had the same language to communicate sometimes, I think it is beautiful how every culture has their own language, slang terms, and accents!
Hi Whitney,
ReplyDeleteIt is a good thing you backed up your story book site. I have looked at it many times and you put in a lot of hard work. It would be a shame if something happened to it, you did an amazing job with it so far. I am glad you posted the language game, it sucked me in for a good 10 minutes. The picture you posted is also seriously epic.
Hi Whitney,
ReplyDeleteBacking up really helps just in case something happens! I have gotten in the habit of doing it almost weekly or at least bi-weekly! That picture that you posted is really beautiful. I have a really beautiful picture of a nebula as my background! Also, that game is seriously addictive. I got sucked into playing it the other name. It's a bit intense but, addictive none the less. Hope you are having a good semester! It was nice seeing what others like from the announcement posts!
