Chinese fairytales!
+ The Panther
This story reminds me a lot of the Santal tale of The Jackal and the Chickens that I read in week 4. Predator's being undone by the kindness of strangers and the cleverness of their victims.
+ Why Dog and Cat Are Enemies
This one reminds me of another story I read early in the class. I think it may have been Aesop? Either way, in both of these tales originally the cat and dog were friends and partners, but eventually the partnership disintegrates due to the actions of the cat. Interesting.
